Help Us Pass Our Bill

On November 7th, 2017, 23rd Veteran presented to members of Congress and their staff in the Rayburn Office Building, Washington, D.C. Our presentation included our Combat Stress Seminar teaching why our brains change in combat and how we can help veterans change them back. As a result, Congressman Rick Nolan has introduced a bill to fund the expansion of our program nationwide. Bill H.R. 5152 was submitted March 3rd, 2018.

$15 Million for Positive Reconditioning

If Bill H.R. 5152 passes U.S. Legislation, the VA will grant up to $15,000,000 in funds over the next 3 years to organizations - including 23rd Veteran - around the country that want to implement our Positive Reconditioning Program.

You Can Help

You can be the only voice we need! Contact your Congressman or Congresswoman and tell them you want our program available in your area. We Need to Act Fast

This bill will expire at the end of 2018. Our first step is to get it past the Veteran's Committee in the House of Representatives. From there, it can go to an official vote within the House. Once it passes the House, it will go to vote in the Senate. At this point, we will ensure our Senators a shout and ensure they know we, as veteran-loving citizens, support their vote on our Bill. Once it passes the Senate, 23rd Veteran can apply for the grant and show other organizations how to apply for a grant to run our program as well.
