Before pulling from his severe symptoms of combat stress, he nearly became one of the “22” veterans that the VA had claimed killed themselves everyday. Mike Waldron now considers himself the next closest thing, the 23rd Veteran, and leads our organization..

Studies show that 25% of veterans returning from recent conflict have a mental illness. The diagnosis of PTSD is 15 times higher than that of civilian population. Depression is so common among our returning veterans that sadly over 130,000 have killed themselves since 9/11/01.

23rd Veteran have developed a groundbreaking program to retrain veterans’ brains to live comfortably and successfully in the civilian world. It takes a community to effectively provide this healthy transition for our struggling veterans, and we need your help to continue to provide these programs. I’m asking you to give a significant donation to allow our veterans and their families to live well-adjusted lives.
